Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before registering for our workshop.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at aiworkshop.info, registering for our workshop, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not register for or attend the AI Workshop Chicago. Your continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of these terms.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Workshop Registration and Attendance

2.1 Registration Process

  • Registration for the AI Workshop Chicago is required to attend the event
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registration information
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register for the workshop
  • Registration confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours of registration

2.2 Free General Admission

  • General admission to the workshop is free for individual attendees
  • Each registered attendee may bring one guest free of charge
  • Free admission includes access to all workshop sessions, materials, lunch, and networking events
  • Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • We reserve the right to limit the number of free registrations

2.3 Attendance Requirements

  • You must bring your own laptop (Mac or PC) with Chrome browser installed
  • A stable internet connection will be provided at the venue
  • Attendees must arrive on time; late arrivals may not be admitted
  • Workshop materials and access codes will only be distributed to registered attendees

2.4 Venue Information

The workshop will be held in Chicago, Illinois. The exact venue address will be provided to registered attendees via email at least 48 hours prior to the event date. Failure to receive this information does not constitute grounds for a refund or rescheduling.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Free General Admission Cancellations

  • Free registrations may be canceled at any time without penalty
  • No refunds are applicable as general admission is free
  • Cancellations should be submitted via email to allow others to take your spot
  • No-shows without prior cancellation may be prohibited from future free registrations

3.2 Paid Package Cancellations (VIP & Corporate)

For all paid packages, the following refund schedule applies:

  • 14+ days before workshop: 100% full refund
  • 7-13 days before workshop: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before workshop: No refund
  • Day of workshop or no-show: No refund

3.3 Workshop Cancellation by Organizer

In the event that we must cancel or postpone the workshop due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue issues, etc.):

  • All paid package holders will receive 100% refunds within 14 business days
  • We will make every effort to reschedule the workshop to a later date
  • Attendees may opt to transfer their registration to the rescheduled date
  • We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred

3.4 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing fees (if any) are non-refundable

VIP Package Terms

4.1 VIP Package Benefits

VIP package holders receive enhanced benefits, which may include:

  • Priority seating in the front rows
  • Exclusive VIP networking sessions
  • Premium workshop materials and resources
  • Extended access to workshop recordings
  • Direct access to instructors during designated Q&A periods
  • Additional AI tools and templates

4.2 VIP Upgrades

  • Free general admission attendees may upgrade to VIP status at any time before or during the workshop
  • Upgrade pricing may vary based on availability and timing
  • VIP benefits apply only to the specific workshop session for which they were purchased

4.3 Transferability

  • VIP packages are transferable to another individual with written notice at least 7 days before the event
  • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to our support team
  • Only one transfer per registration is permitted

Corporate Package Terms

5.1 Corporate Package Tiers

Corporate packages are available for teams of 3 or more attendees. Pricing tiers include:

  • Starter Package ($2,000): 3-5 attendees with basic team support
  • Professional Package ($5,000): 6-10 attendees with enhanced support and customization
  • Enterprise Package ($10,000): 10+ attendees with full customization and dedicated support

5.2 Corporate Package Benefits

Corporate packages include:

  • Reserved seating for your team
  • Customized AI agent blueprints for your industry
  • Post-workshop implementation support calls (duration varies by tier)
  • Access to workshop recordings and materials
  • Priority support via dedicated Slack channel
  • LinkedIn-verified certificates for all team members
  • Custom use case development (Enterprise tier only)

5.3 Team Size Requirements

  • Corporate packages require a minimum of 3 attendees
  • Team members must be from the same organization
  • All team members must be specified at registration
  • Substitutions are allowed with 7 days notice

5.4 Payment Terms

  • Corporate package payment is due in full at registration
  • We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, and corporate purchase orders
  • Purchase orders must be received at least 14 days before the workshop
  • Payment plans may be available for Enterprise packages (contact us for details)

5.5 On-Site Corporate Training

  • On-site training is available for teams of 10+ attendees
  • Custom pricing provided based on location and requirements
  • On-site training requires a separate contract and minimum 30-day advance booking
  • Travel expenses and venue costs are the responsibility of the client

Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Workshop Materials

  • All workshop materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, templates, code samples, and recordings, are the intellectual property of AI Workshop Chicago and its instructors
  • Workshop materials are provided for personal or internal business use only
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or share workshop materials with non-attendees
  • You may not use workshop materials to teach your own competing workshops or courses

6.2 AI Agents and Projects

  • AI agents and projects you create during the workshop are your intellectual property
  • You are free to use, modify, and deploy your AI agents for commercial purposes
  • We may request permission to use anonymized examples of student projects for educational purposes

6.3 Trademarks

  • "AI Workshop Chicago" and related logos are trademarks of our organization
  • You may not use our trademarks without explicit written permission
  • Certificates and credentials may not be modified or altered in any way

6.4 Third-Party Tools

Workshop instruction includes third-party AI tools and platforms (such as ChatGPT, Make.com, Zapier, etc.). Use of these tools is subject to their respective terms of service and licensing agreements. We are not responsible for changes to third-party tool availability, pricing, or functionality.

Code of Conduct

7.1 Expected Behavior

All attendees are expected to:

  • Treat all participants, instructors, and staff with respect and courtesy
  • Participate in an authentic and active way
  • Exercise consideration and respect in speech and actions
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech
  • Be mindful of your fellow participants and alert workshop staff if you notice violations

7.2 Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and may result in immediate removal:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
  • Physical or verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, or staff member
  • Disruption of workshop sessions or related events
  • Recording or photographing attendees without explicit consent
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors

7.3 Consequences

  • Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately
  • We reserve the right to remove anyone from the workshop without warning or refund
  • Attendees removed for code of conduct violations are prohibited from attending future events
  • Serious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities

7.4 Reporting

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, please notify a workshop staff member immediately or contact us at support@aiworkshop.info.

Limitation of Liability

8.1 Workshop Content Disclaimer

  • Workshop content is provided for educational purposes only
  • We make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of information presented
  • AI technologies and tools evolve rapidly; information may become outdated
  • Results from implementing workshop teachings may vary based on individual circumstances
  • We do not guarantee specific business outcomes or financial results

8.2 Technical Limitations

  • We are not responsible for technical issues with your personal devices
  • Internet connectivity issues beyond our control are not grounds for refunds
  • Third-party AI tool outages or service interruptions are beyond our control
  • We do not guarantee that AI agents built during the workshop will function indefinitely

8.3 Personal Property and Health

  • We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property
  • Attendees participate at their own risk
  • We are not liable for any personal injury that may occur at the venue
  • Medical emergencies will be addressed according to venue protocols

8.4 Maximum Liability

In no event shall AI Workshop Chicago, its organizers, instructors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your attendance or inability to attend the workshop.

Our maximum liability to you for any and all claims arising from the workshop shall not exceed the amount you paid for your package (or $0 for free general admission).

8.5 Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

  • We make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions when notified in advance
  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free food preparation
  • Attendees with severe food allergies should bring their own meals
  • We are not liable for allergic reactions or food-related illnesses

Changes to Terms and Workshop Details

10.1 Terms of Service Updates

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time
  • Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
  • Material changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email
  • Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
  • For paid packages, terms in effect at the time of purchase will govern

10.2 Workshop Schedule and Content Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify the workshop schedule, content, or instructors
  • Venue location may change due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Registered attendees will be notified of significant changes via email
  • Minor adjustments to curriculum do not constitute grounds for refund

10.3 Pricing Changes

  • Package prices may change without notice for future workshops
  • Price changes do not affect already-registered attendees
  • Early bird pricing and promotional discounts are subject to availability

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Venue

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

11.3 Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution
  • Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication with our support team
  • For disputes involving amounts less than $10,000, parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation

11.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

11.5 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
